the eighth reflection

Today is Thursday 12th November. That is the ninth day of this subject but it is my eighth reflection. I feel a bit sad because the time for this the subject is shorter and shorter. The atmosphere in our class is less exciting than the previous week because taks for the second week are optional not compulsory. That's why we are not very worried. Besides, our using computer skill is creasing and creasing, and we are more confident ourselves. The tasks for today is a bit challenging with google reader. When we asked my teacher, he just said to attack screencast. I know in this there is an instruction with the video that makes us to do following that.
We saw it again and again, but not find out any file has the link that let me post it. Luckly, one of us open right the file which have what we need. At once we do quickly. But when we add it to google we didn't know what we should do to send it to teacher. We asked my teacher once more but no result from him, may be he was talking to his wife... some other said to me that he said to us to ask Nga's help, because she was successful in this task. I asked her and I got the answer, at that time Tu_ monitor found other way for us to send to my teacher. We did following both ways. We are successful.

the seventh reflection

Today is Wednesday 11th November 2009. It is the eighth day of the information technology course. My tasks I have done in class are creating an account in Ning.com, which is a bit difficult to understand, but at last we could finish with own network. I just only post a photo of our class. The second task is editing image. When I see the video that help and show the way we should do. In our class web, my teacher sends us a picture but I don’t understand what I have to do with it. I see the introduction and understand that if we like any pictures on screen we use Print screen in keyboard to print it then go into Irfan view to edit and save it. Then send it on blog entry in EFL537 and attach it the send to my teacher in Gmai. The third task is also the last task today about creating an account in Esnips.com. In this web we post one of previous tasks and sent the link to my teacher. My work seemed to be not hard today, but the work I should finish is writing about reading review. It is time for me to write my assignment.

the sixth reflection

Today is the seventh day of this course but it is my sixth reflection. My task is post my presentation on my blog in blogger.com and share in my Gmail. Firstly, I have confused when looking following the instruction. I can't undersand that the intruction let me do in both sites, sothat I am in this site, next I open other site without understanding why I must do like that. Untill I failed in my bolg because there is notice that has error that didn't receive the link with " iframe" I feel worried. After that my friend open the spreadsheet. My task is ok. At that time I just understand what I have done. So I understand and show for my friends the way to post in Blog and Google.docs. I feel that the instruction is abit longer one or more steps we needn't do such as copy the link from the presentation player and paste on my blog that no need.That is interesting.

the fifth reflection

Monday 9th November is the fifth day, that is the first day in the second week. The taks for today is to continue add bookmarks , and see out all skill trainings that many things that are 8 tasks. In class I can't finish my work, I often finish my tasks at home. I try to work and relax because I have had hard work that make me a bit tired. I m a pity about not hearing and watching my teacher's video. I just get a little, but I feel I like this, moreover, I wonder if I can create my own video as my teacher did inwhich has subtitle appear on the screen. I need to ask my teacher. I 'd like my teacher show me directly, but my listening skill is not good to understand, poor me.
In this class, we log in many websites that are useful but I still don't finish reading all these sites, I will start with these sites later.

The fifth day is on Friday, 6th November

the fourth reflection

Wednesday is the fourth day of this subject. All of us seem to be get used to working with these sites, so that we can finish our tasks following the intruduction. One thing I find that I have diffiuclties during the making tasks is I cannot open all links that students give me, and I download other differnt version, so it looks the same what my teacher introduce in his video.
Today I try to open some links from our class site, there are many others different links to give me many things to read. I want to discover all when I have freetime. Our teacher give us very clear introduction, and he can guess what can happen with us when making tasks so He gives suitable links that help us easy use it. After four days with information techonology, i find it very useful, I need understand all usages of tasks to apply for my teaching. I wish I have may time to write exactly the tasks I have done from the first day.

the third reflection

Wednesday is the third day working on the internet. We received many tasks, we think that we have to finish these that's why make all classmates very worried. I have finished 2 day'swork in the best effect, I can get some information when using these web sites in desktop management, google docs, foxfire, skype, with the introduction from my teacher that is very clear. The thing I often do wrong is to not understand the introduction
when I do step by step with the direct introduction I do well. Today I just finish some works, I try do it at home, but untill the late I just download these sites for my tasks.

the second reflection

Today is Tuesday 3rd November, we start working with the internet to account in Delicious and Slide share. I can create my accounts but have not logged in the delicious. I don't know why when I type my address ID but not for Password. I have many things to do and read. I think If my teacher was here, he could help us directly, and we can get over all dificulties that We meet.
We are like as the strangers in a big city without a map, and we must find out the way we want to go. My classmates have written their reflection but not post so My teacher cann't see. I am lucky because I post it following the introduction in social bookmark. I can read the introduction but it is not easy to make, sometimes I must guess what I should do.
The work for us today as the first day that we started beginning and got used to working in the internet following teacher's introduction.

my reflection for the first lesson with Mr.Jeff

Monday 2nd November is the first day I have lesson with my teacher in the internet but it is not smooth. The voice is not clearly, so I can't hear my teacher as expected. And we lack of the knowledge about the modern technology as internet or using software, so that it is difficult for us to do well. Although my teacher has sent the link for us, and has some VNU staffs introduce some basic skills for some, I am not quite successful. I have logged in and read them, but I cannot imagine what I have to learn or how to do. The first day, I have known the course overview, but I have not enough time to read it in class time. I must help my classmates to log in or open accounts. However, I feel very interested and I am helpful. Then I try to keep on my work, I have an account in blogger.com until the class ends so that I can't write my reflection. I wish my teacher sympathizes for that. For me, working with the computer or in the internet is regular, but not clear for all applications or functions of software. I think this is special chance for me to broaden my knowledge about the information technology and use it for my teaching.
